Some Indian Winter....Man It's Hot

It is my mom’s birthday today. I dedicated my practice to her this morning hopefully sending her good vibrations. Mike and I are planning our first mini getaway from Mysore. This is possible only because the Sunday is a moon day which means two days off from practice. We are heading to Hassan to explore Belur and Halebeedu on the advice of some locals. I think Mike as having more fun than I am. Today he took a portrait of a man who talked to him about karma and the trimurti. He told Mike that there are no statues of Brahma because Brahma is everywhere. Mike asked the man if he practiced yoga and he responded “ no, our honest living is yoga.” That is something to meditate on.
