Half Way
You know you been in India for a bit when while walking to predawn practice you see a big fat pig and an Indian guy jogging and the one that looks really out of place is the jogging man! Mike and I are learning how to make dosa’s today. They are like really yummy crepes that are traditionally served as breakfast with a curry broth and coconut chutney, which is addictive. We will be having dosa parties when we get back to the states. We have two more weeks left in Mysore, I am now getting why people spend three months at a time here. I think next year we will spend two. I can feel my mother cringing at that thought. Mike and I have been thinking about what we can “take away” from this experience. We both have been considering our consumption and how we can begin to curtail some things. I saw this image of Durga yesterday while Mike was haggling at the market. I hope you all enjoy. Love 108 times!!!

Jill, I wish you would have taken a picture of the man and the pig jogging down the road, that would have been a sight to see. We all miss you and can't wait until you get home.
